A GREEN AUDIT
FOR YOUR OFFICE
Isle of Man Friends of the Earth (FoE) is pleased to offer a Green Audit scheme to all businesses on the Isle of Man. (Forms appear at the bottom of this page.)
The Green Audit process is fairly painless - and it's not trying to trip you up!
Through the audit we'll help you identify things you're doing well - and things that could do with a bit of re-thinking.
Just by filling out the form you should identify areas needing action. Whether you choose to follow the suggestions or not is entirely up to you.
In areas where you'd like to improve your environmental performance we'll be glad to help by pointing you in the right direction.
Our Green Audit has been developed with the assistance of Friends of the Earth Scotland.
We can also help you calculate your business' carbon footprint (i.e. the amount of CO2 you produce), and make recommendations for offsetting. Climate Care, one of the most reputable UK carbon offset companies (ClimateCare.org), will help us to assess this information accurately.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO YOUR BUSINESS?

- Consumers are ever more aware of environmental issues, and many like to believe that the businesses they support are as eco-friendly as they can be. This audit - and the implementation of an environmental action plan can help you promote your business.

- You fill the form in and use it to help you design
and implement an environmental action plan.
- We can help you assess your performance if you like - and make recommendations for changes. We'll also help you identify the best ways to ensure change is effective and lasting.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
Isle of Man Friends of the Earth (FoE) is keen for all businesses to be as eco-friendly as possible. All members of FoE that are trained to deliver the audit process are donating their time to try and help make the world a better place.
